I just hope KITV will not follow KGMB's format of featuring themselves under the guise of news. It's so sad that such a talented staff are so into themselves reporting on the anchors' elementary schools, a weathergirl's stint as a movie star stand in, trying to honor Bob Sevey when he was forced to leave KGMB, etc. etc.
I also forget to mention KGMB advertising the morning show every chance they get, and to overblow the phrase, Hawaii's Severe Weather Station.
I hope and pray you and your staff will continue to strive for reporting with objectivity, and lastly, to see the half our as news instead of a show.

WHY IS DAN MEISENZAHL WEARING A TIE???????!!!
Unless he is attempting to get a job on the mainland, I don't understand the dress code change. There are three other stations I can watch anchors wearing the stuffy attire that is appropriate to the other 49 states, but I turn to KITV in the morning because yours is the station that provides the comfortability of a local station. This is my hometown news, a small town feel to big city stories.
The aloha attire of the anchors is a crucial element to maintaining the friendly atmosphere in which you deliver the news.

You guys are reporting on the television that Ron Menor's district has reported in all "nine" precincts, but the Advertiser is reporting that there are 14 precincts. What is the correct number. Are there still five more precincts that haven't reported in?
